How to Give CPR Transcription

Welcome to French Maid TV, the video podcast of “How To’s,” by French Maids.  And now, How To Give CPR!

First you will need a set of arms and hands, working lungs and a mouth and a victim who is not breathing.

Step1: Check to make sure victim is okay.

Step 2: Call for help.

Step 3: Check to see if victim is breathing or if the airway is blocked.

Step 4: If victim is not breathing, pinch the nose and tilt the head back and give 2 quick breaths.

Step 5: Check for the pulse.

Step 6: Check the sternum with 2 fingers and place hands together firmly and pump.

Step 7: Alternate breaths and pumps until help arrives.

Congratulations, now celebrate! 

This would be a good time to review. Check to make sure victim is okay, then call for help.  Check to see if victim is breathing or if the airway is blocked. If victim is not breathing, pinch the nose and tilt the head back and give 2 quick breaths.  Check for the pulse. Check the sternum with 2 fingers and place hands together firmly and pump.

This may take a while, so find something else to do, like duster fighting.

Now…where were we?  When help arrives, leave it to the professional.  Remember, never practice CPR on an actual human.
